COMPANY INTRODUCTION

A NEW DAY…

SVP Richards Bay Quantity Surveyors and its branch offices has reached the end of an era and stand before the challenge of a new day dawning.

Background

During 2006 negotiations commenced with Bingelela Investments (Pty) Ltd Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Sizwe Khulmalo. The result of these negotiations was the presentations of our respective companies' vision and principles and the mandate to conclude a 30% sale of share from SVP to Bingelela.  Bingelela having a wealth of Chemical Engineering and Management talent and experience brings in a process industry dimension to an already well established Quantity Survey and project Management company, SVP.  Together they form an integrated Consulting professional powerhouse in Bingelela Consulting Professionals (BCP).

Both companies have seen qualities and attributes in each other that was exiting and stimulating and re-defined the reasons for being in business in 2007. Creating wealth through a unified and integrated effort of all the people in South Africa in order to plough back and to contribute to empowering people in all spheres of life, especially those people who are still battling after more than 10 years of Democracy in South Africa.

Introducing the Bingelela brand

As proud citizens of this beautiful country of ours we want to endeavor to reflect the identity that will be construed by all people as Professional, service orientated, committed and strongly visional. We believe that this will inspire confidence amongst our clients. This new identity is our warranty of quality.

Why a name change?

Change is never easy but it is always refreshing. We want it to symbolize a new day and a fresh start. There are so many challenges out there and we feel that we can contribute but we want to do it in the spirit of the new South Africa. Someone once said “...the only constant in life is change...”

We also believe that it is demonstrative of our seriousness to transform and support the Government in their initiatives towards creating a better life for all South Africans.

What’s in a name?

Bingelela means “to greet”. That is what we want to do. For to long have we been isolated from each others cultures, homes and businesses. We want to greet each other as fellow citizens and business people, we want to greet a new beginning and we want to greet a prosperous future, together, in South Africa.

We also want to greet our client afresh and strengthen our relationships with them, saying that we are seriously committed to this country.

In the new brand “Bingelela Consulting Professionals” (BCP) we want to capture our sincere eagerness to be “introduced” to new and exciting challenges that are still to be faced in our country. John F. Kennedy once said “ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country”.

By combining our name with the slogan “unity, power, prosperity for all” we believe that we have an identity that embodies our vision, commitment and seriousness in our industry.

We are all equal before God and being part of the community where we work, we want to be a blessing as we are blessed. As we have said in the past, “true wealth is not what you have but what you give”.  This just makes more sense to us.
